Grand Prix Eagle Update

Well my grand experiment of doing the 12 cylinder exhaust worked out surprisingly well. Taking seven times to do the right bank and one time to do the left. I can’t figure that one out. Since I could not find any 20 gauge solder, I ended up using 20 gauge wire from the inside of an old computer. It worked out better this way since I was able to do tight bends without putting any nicks in it like solder. Also gave me the change to do more experimenting making two part molds. Up next will be finishing the engine cover, main body, and supports for the rear of the exhaust pipes. Will keep you posted. Kevin

Given the historical significance of this car I have to believe this is one of the most anticipated kits ever produced. I hope it's a huge success for you Kevin and I hope I can do it justice. That engine looks amazing.

wanted to give you an update on the 66 Gurney Eagle Grand Prix car. I am hoping to have a release date by the end of summer. A lot of new bits and pieces are required to do the Grand Prix from the Indy car version. I am offering a pre-order price of $120.00 with free domestic shipping. This will be the last week for this offer. After July 31st the price will be $125.00 with $7.00 shipping and handling domestically. Due to increase cost on raw materials used in producting my kits, I have been forced to have a slight price increase across the board. This is the first time I have done this in years. I am sure that you will understand. For those of you that have already pre-ordered, your orders are on file. This will be a full kit with decals and tire decals included.
