As the title says, are there any color pics out there of the 1946 Hepburn Novi? I have had no luck so far.

Brian:
“Crucible of speed” is a color film of the race. It has the only color pictures that I know of. I watched it at least a dozen times during my Robson build.
My opinion? Dark blue metallic with red seat…anybody else?

I agree, TS-53 looks close! I would probably be prepared to hit it with a coat or two of TS-72 Clear Blue to lighten it a touch if necessary. Might start with white primer as well, need to experiment on the spoons a little!
