I have found a company here in Indiana to do the photo etch parts, will update as I learn more.

After working with one of the photo etched grills it became very clear that this was not the path to take, there was simply no way the photo etched grill was going to conform to the compound curves needed to replicate the grill on the actual car. So this is what I have come up with, not perfect but I am very pleased with it. I will be finishing up the grill and one or two more small things and should be building the molds in a day or two.

Sometimes going with what we know is best. This seems like a workable solution that satisfies you and allows you to bring this wonderful model to the rest of us. Thank you, Lance. We need you. Jim

I agree. If that's what works the best, then go for it.

Have you eve contemplated using the lost wax casting technique? I think Chris Etzel utilized that on the Kuzma car.

Did drivers really wear that silvery outfit in those days? (Asking for a friend. . .)

Did drivers really wear that silvery outfit in those days? (Asking for a friend. . .) Looks kind of like a drag racer from the '60s!

Novi looks great. Those old knights wore shorter skirts than a '70's Go-Go dancer. Shocking, positively shocking!

There will be a 46 Novi, the mystery of the decal on the side of the car has been solved! This is great news, I would prefer the 1946, Hepburn car. Looking good Lance.

These shots are of a jig I made to help align the rims and spokes during assembly, I am giving a lot of thought towards including something like this in the kit.

Nearing the end of photographing the assembly, will then try to put my scattered thoughts on paper. My favorite part, finally seeing a kit stand on it's own wheels.

Lance,
I think it looks really good & am looking forward to building the kit
I'd be happy to build a jig if you include a plan for it & "how to use it"
