I finished up the 83 Road Course Eagle today and I thought I would show you how the decals are finalized for the kit. Michael Quarterman did the artwork for the kit. First he sends me a proof that is pretty much in the ball park. I then cut the images from the copy sheet and apply them to the resin body with craft glue to make sure the sizes are correct. Once the sizes are agreed upon the final decal version is sent to Indycals for printing. I can be a real stickler when it comes to getting the decals just right. At times will take a modeling license approach to enhance a logo if needed so the model will look correct. There are times when you need to make a decision so that the logo will look enhanced if needed. I will begin assembling the kits this week and will start sending them out on Monday. I am just waiting for a few more sets of metal to complete the orders so far. Thanks for being patient and I am sure you are going to love the kit.
