Nice job on the rotor hub sleeves! Very small aluminum tubing, I assume. You're not going to make an operating collector? Come on! --Frank

My Wife informed me that no one here will know what a "collector" is! Call it what we call it: a working ROTORHEAD! I stand corrected and humbled. --Frank

Actually, some of us do, Frank. My son-in-law has about 3,500 hrs in the Pavelow, so I know a little bit about helicopters.

wow! That's impressive! As I recall, the Pavelows were all Special Op's birds: high-risk flying! Those must have been 3,500 scarey hours for you and your family! --Frank

They were impressive machines, Frank. If you are interested in them, check out a website called "The Pave Cave".

I went to Desert Storm with the 1st SOW, so I am very familiar with the MH53J, I loved those ugly birds. I would not like flying in the Osprey replacement.

Lots of Pavelow guys are not huge fans of the Osprey, Bill. Time will tell. The 53 was a tough act to follow.

Just thought I'd share a few shots of the rotor hub.

I'm just checking in to say that this project will be shelved until further notice. Sorry guys. It will get done but with all of the Indy stuff I'm into right now ....on top of learning all of the new machinery, I simply do not have enough hours in the day.
