I do racing sims occasionally and my daughter downloaded F1 2013 for me on the Xbox. I tried the game and so got frustrated just trying to get through the "testing" part of the game.
At one point the game had you wet weather testing and you had to go through a series of corners, hit the apexes, and do it in under 50 seconds. The game said you had to hit 6 of 8 apexes, but when I got to the end my "engineer" said I didn't hit them all and to try it again. After about 40 or 50 tries I gave up and told my daughter to just delete the game.
After so many tries doing something stupid and having the game lie to me, I just gave up. I understand they want the games to be realistic, but to make the training so hard you get frustrated and want to quit, just seems stupid to me.
Man, I really want to find a nice PC racing sim. I miss GTR2.

I like f1 2013 for the retro cars and tracks, but I see what you mean about the testing, it really seemed pointless. You might like assetto corsa, its a nice sim, with a great variety of cars and tracks.
