My PR person told me I need to show a sneak peek of this upcoming release today! This project was started in early January as the board of advisors at CRR ( ) said it was going to be a future interest in the Indycar modeling community.....its amazing how they can see into the future! (The real truth is Michael P. is my advisors LOL!) These are old initial test fit pictures of the test parts.

Nice logo. Liking the conversion kit. Trying to make me wish I hadn't sold my Eagles a few years back, eh?

I think Scott's latest project is a Voodoo doll of you, Calvin. You may have some unexplained bumps and sharp, shooting pains in the days ahead

That looks awesome. But I have to ask, has the CRR Board of Directors added to the "Get Calvin to Indy" budget?

Whenever Calvin is able to go to Indy, we will make it happen. Trust me on that.

But I have to ask, has the CRR Board of Directors added to the "Get Calvin to Indy" budget? They are more worried about getting a bonus then ever getting me to that race!

No matter what he thinks, Calvin is not ready for the 500. The track, the museum, a race at IRP, the whole thing. The first time you experience it, you are in shock. That was my take, anyone else feel the same?

I like the Vivatar Special conversion! Even though it is a few years out of my era of main interest, it is still a sharp car and I have a spare MPC Eagle Count me in Calvin and Michael!!

That was my take, anyone else feel the same? I agree. My first trip was in 1968, I've been there almost 40 times and I'm still in awe of the place. John

Calvin, who did your logo? As a former graphic designer I have to say it's very nice.

Usually a logo has a little bit of a meaning.....I go by chaparral 2k in most places so I stuck a basic outline of a 2k in the logo. The ideas I had before this one were way too busy and had zero meaning.

I like the Eagle!
I saw a FB post yesterday (which I can't find now) from a Wilke family member showing this car being restored. They said it was going to be at Indy, though I'm not sure if it was this week or for the Vintage event.
Should be some good photos available on it soon.

Wow, Calvin when they're ready for sale count me in! You are a maestro.
Also, I have two tickets to the 500 each year and if you ever want the other ticket let me know!

No voodoo dolls. I'll smack Calvin in the arm personally, but he's got to get to Indy first. But be warned Calvin, they are right, you're not ready. I've been to IMS probably 30-40 times and it is just as staggering every time. I like the Eagle! I saw a FB post yesterday (which I can't find now) from a Wilke family member showing this car being restored. They said it was going to be at Indy, though I'm not sure if it was this week or for the Vintage event. Should be some good photos available on it soon. MJ That would be fantastic! I've seen very few decent photos of this car. In fact, the only "decent" photo I've seen of the right side of it was post-crash (and in black and white). Heck, I thought this car was long since in a scrap heap. Scott

The Wilke car appears to be on the SVRA vintage entry list.
