Hi All I am seriously considering re-issuing this kit. Matter of fact, I am getting emails every month asking for it, thank you. What I would need would be at least 12 confirmations from people that are serious about buying these kits. Going through some of the masters this evening to see what needs to be done. Both cars would be offered. That would mean 6 confirmation of each car. With the time and cost to re-issue both, this makes it feasible. A $20.00 deposit would be required to order each kit. The kit originally came as a Trans kit. You would still need a 68 Dan Gurney Eagle to finish the kit. The original price was $75.00 plus 7.00 S&H. I will honor that same price now. The kit would include: Front and rear wings, main body, tires and rims, air scoop, and lower front A arms. You would supply the decals, from Indycals, and the donor kit. If you are interested please send me an email to kuzlynn@comcast.net. No money at this time. Thanks Kevin K.

In your post you said "both cars" . What does that mean? Is there more than what is pictured or am I misreading this?

Hi All
Thanks for the interest in the re-issue of this kit. We are still a few short of the 12 needed but I think it will come. I forgot to mention that the kit will also include an engine and transmission. My plans are to include a nose, air scoop, and cockpit canopy so the James Hunt 1974 version can be made. All the modeler has to do is cut off the 75-76 nose and attach the 74 nose for the Hunt version. These extra parts will be included in each kit. Unfortunately the 74 Hunt versions master was damaged in the molding process on the first issue. The 75-76 tub is the same anyway. The difference in 74-75 Eagle was the air scoop, cockpit canopy, and nose. Hope this is understandable. I will keep you posted. Thanks Kevin K.

I somehow missed this post! I would take two so I can build both versions. Please keep us posted! Thanks for considering this re-issue!

Hi Everyone Thank you all for your interest in the re-issue of this kit. I am accepting payments for your orders and you can either send the entire purchase amount or $20.00 per kit(s), your choice. I should have the kits ready to send on or before Christmas. The entire amount per kit will be $75.00 plus $7.00 shipping per kit. If two kits are purchased I will combine shipping. Two versions of the kit, Hunt and Shuppan/Unser, the difference in the kits is the air box, nose cone, and cockpit canopy. Both cars use the same basic tub. To do the Hunt version, you will have to slice off the nose and attach the longer versions nose which is very simple to do with a razor saw and just glue on the 74 nose. Please specify when paying in the comment field in paypal which version(s) kit you want, the 74 or the 75. My paypal address is silvercitymodels@comcast.net. If you have any questions please contact me via email at kuzlynn@comcast.net. Thanks again for making this re-issue possible. Kevin.

Hi All
I forgot to mention. I have white metal parts (not included in the kit) that can be used on the Chevy engine that is in the kit. The parts include trumpets, oil tank, exhaust/headers, overflow tank, and distributor. These will look better than the parts in the 68 Gurney Eagle Kit needed to complete the model. The price for the update kit if anyone is interested is $7.00. Thanks Kevin K.
