ARM hits the road this morning headed for The Toledo NNL. This event is held tomorrow in conjunction with the Collectors' Toy & Model Fair at the Sylvania Exhibition Center at Tam-O-Shanter, 7060 Sylvania Ave., Sylvania, Ohio. ARM will have the usual inventory of seven Etzel's Speed Classics race cars, accessories, decals, and figures. In addition to Lockhart, American Speed King, we have added Dick Wallen's Distant Thunder, When Midgets Were Mighty. Retail on this book has been dramatically reduced to $65.00 making it quite a deal. If we continue to have success selling these books, we will add more of them that relate to the models that we are producing. We are also now a dealer for Scale Motorsport and will have carbon fiber decals, some photo etch, and tool sets on the rack at Toledo.
Other News: We will again have some build ups of the 2000 G-Force at Toledo. The molds have been made and we have cast one complete set of resin parts. Unfortunately, we will not have this car kitted until next month, hopefully for the NNL South in GA. The Kuzma, the last of the nine masters we acquired from Chris Etzel should be in rubber by the end of this month. Our goal is to have this beauty kitted before the end of 2014. The Seated Driver Figure(s), a set of legs, torsos, and helmet types is almost ready to be packaged and should be available at NNL South next month. This set, mastered by Fred Lombardo, will allow you to install a realistic figure in your '40s, '50s, or '60s open wheel American racing car without major surgery to driver or model.
That's about it from World Headquarters for now. Please stop by our stand at Toledo tomorrow or check out our web site: AmericanRacingMiniatures.com. Thanks, spyder

Went to the Toy Collector Fair this morning and met Tom for the first time. Great display of their kits and the built models on display were bar none the best model builds I have ever seen. In recent times I thought I was a pretty good painter but I can't hold a candle to these. Absolutely outstanding. There seemed to be a lot of interest as I saw people gathering around and asking all sorts of questions. I really hope they do well and sell a lot of kits. I wanted so bad to buy myself another Miller but a recent car repair left me with no cash at the worst possible time. I will get myself one of these kits soon. I took a few photos with my phone but they don't do the models justice. Hopefully Tom took some pictures himself. If not, I will post mine later.
I did not stay for the NNL. I was there at 9am sharp and it didn't start until 11am and I had to go. Hopefully someone posts some photos of the models on display.

hubie, we are working on the "dirt car". We've got a remastered belly pan that will go in rubber this week. The body/tail should be ready for rubber next week. Realistically, we probably won't have the Kuzma kitted until mid-November. Not so far off, really. Hang in. spyder
