Well so far so good I think. Next I'll finish both side pieces & form the side skirts on the flips.

Truly amazing stuff. What type of glue do you use for the styrene to the metal? This car will be looking really good when finished. Keep up the great post and work.

Thanks for that. I just do the best I can like others here. indy I use CA on everything. I have the other side finished & will sand it off & prime to see if all is ok. I'll have to set this project aside for now, Simona wants another Entergy car for her dad's birthday.

Well not too awful excited about it but how much can you do with a 93 Minichamps Lola. When it's dressed it will be a reasonable fax....thanks.

Can't wait to see it finished! Love seeing it come together. I can't see the finish yet (my fault, not yours) but really see it with paint, decals, and then finally assembled. Jordan

After I shipped off the Simona car & worked a bit on the Galmer I got busy wrecking these out for winter projects. Hard to strip in winter. I should have another update on the Galmer in a day or 2.

, oh my my edit, Ralph cant help but admire your precision in burnishing your paint lines, this wip is just awesome ! Thanks & yes it's an absolute must. Get paint creep down at the point of the nose & you got problems. Most places it can be touched up. Mask it off the small area & turn down the airbrush needle VERY small & cover the bleeding.

Mask for the red. And the red is on. I have to remove the masking after each color in order to re mask for the next color. In the 2nd photo I now will cover the red then mask the light blue paint line & re cover all the white for the 3rd time. I was a bit worried when I was making the body that my cockpit sides would not be high enough for the Valvoline decals, but I think it will be ok. When I molded in the windshield I gained a bit more height in the sides. If not I'll get them resized to fit.

I think I'll see an end to this soon. I have one light coat of clear to seal the vinyl striping then I'll add a couple more coats. The masking & striping down at the point of the nose was a little nerve racking. I have a couple small mistakes but will take care of them soon. I kinda liked the way it came out & I'll NEVER do another. Also I have the fronts of the upper rear wishbones cut off the trans, they will slide up in position on the engine cover. Oh BTW I still have to make a camera for the right side of the roll hoop. I didn't want to glue it in place while I was masking.
