It might also depend on whether or not the decals have a white backing. If the decals have a white backing the Solveset is a must but if it doesn't I'm sure other brands would work as well.

Excellent presentation and work, Calvin. From a lump of balsa to this is very amazing to me. I really didn't think the balsa would work out and you proved me wrong.

So I cut off a block and started my journey of carving! I did some clean up work on the tail end and changed up how the under-tray and bumpers are going to mount on. Totally right, Patrick. It really came a long way - the first cut wasn't a bad one but the finished product looks 10,000x better. A testament to Calvin's skill and determination plus there was good feedback from the group here. Jordan

yes yes yes, so not to miss out is there a time that they will go on sale? Sometime in the early morning (middle of the night) BTW a note to everyone, I'm not doing any pre orders. It would be way too hard for me to catch everyone when they are ready. To make it fair to everyone the Buy it now button will be ready on Monday. I get so many emails when I come out with a new kit that it would be overwhelming to try to do pre orders or email paypal orders. So thats why I have a buy it now button on my website. Plus the paypal checkout will take care of everything and you will get a shipping notification with tracking number email - so its all organized.

I just got my preview kit(it's good to be Calvin's friend), and I can tell you that it is his best work ever. Very impressive! You might want to wake up early Monday to get one, if you want to build a DW12. At the risk of giving Calvin "the big head" you don't want to miss this one. He is moving to the head of the class in resin kits. Take Care Craig

BTW this was a long time agreement or trade I promised Craig a while back, I didn't sale it to him ahead of time.
I hope I don't get a big head - if I did I think I would loose business, so I'll just stay hubble its less stressful!
Since Craig bragged on me it would not be right for me to brag on him back or that would be called kissing donkey butt!
But seriously, I'm glad you like it!
One more BTW, I'd like to brag on someone else. Duane Brown aka: racerbrown a few weeks ago I got a big box in the mail, it was a pressure tank from Duane! WOW! very nice. Having one of those is going to help a lot to further my quest for an improved resin product! Thank you sir! So I'd like to say that its only me that is trying to improve but its friends like you guys on this forum that are really the ones making it happen!

I did not mean to imply that Calvin moved me to the head of the line. We agreed a while back to trade a DW12 for an Eagle. Both he, and Michael did a great job on the builds (Michael even got the tires right).

Just ordered one of these. It probably won't be the last one I get. Now comes the hard part ... choosing the car (decals) I want to build. The Indycal selection has some really cool designs.

For those that have already ordered, first of all thank you very much! Your kits will be sent off tomorrow. I would usually send them out same day, but today is MLK day.
BTW there is only 4 left, so if you click on the button here in next hour or so don't be surprised if it comes up as out of stock ( I manually have to take the Buy it now button down when they are gone)

In addition to the decals on my site, I hope to have 2012 Scott Dixon and 2013 Kanaan decals available later this week.

I will hate myself for clicking on that button as I don't like to build resin but as I just finished two Tyrrell's in resin, why not another?

Here is some updates for the original DW-12 re-issue. I got the master all cleaned up and did some minor touch ups! Its basically 90% ready to be remolded!!!!! I also updated the undertray to make it more builder friendly....which means no semi-scratch building for the back end tunnels!

I found a Max Papis car i built in high school. It is horrible! Decals are flaking off. Glue isn't holding suspension anymore it's awful. I don't know how I did it and I don't know how you 1/24 25 scale guys do it. Cavin you're a talented guy to scratch build these that's for dang sure!

I still have some of my old builds, but I'm sure not going to show them to anybody. Tube glue, the old Testors enamel, and kit decals are not a good combo.
