While I sit here watching the 2010 NFL Draft. I thought I'd load up the 1973 Pocono 500. We're coming into the Indy car era where most of the cars are either McLaren's or Eagles with a couple of Parnelli's and Foyt's mixed in. Starting off is the 1973 Parnelli/Offy Samsonite Spl. of Joe Leonard. (love the red plaid pants!) The 1973 Sugaripe Prune Spl. Eagle/Offy of Bill Vukovich. I just can't help but think that the crew was never constipated! Roger McCluskey in the Lindsey Hopkins Spl. McLaren/Offy. (Notice the guy with the yellow shirt and cigarette, don't think that would be allowed today!) Al Unser's 1973 Viceroy Spl. Parnelli/Offy. The beautifully prepared 1973 Penske Sunoco McLaren/Offy of Gary Benttenhausen. The Thermo King Eagle/Offy of Mike Hiss. The 1973 Work's Gulf McLaren/Offy, driven by Johnny Rutherford! Dan Gurney's AAR Eagle Offy driven by Bobby Unser. Sam Sessions drove this Eagle/Foyt. Mario Andretti's Viceroy Spl. Parnelli/Offy. Mr. Foyt's Gilmore Racing Coyote/Foyt Well I hope you all enjoy! More to come later. Jim

Dear Illeagle10: On behalf of several addicts here, I beg you:"STOP THE INSANITY!" This endless posting of early 70's Indy cars must end! Every time I see these, all I want to do is buy MORE KITS and bug Michael to make the decals. In a past life, were you a drug dealer/snake oil salesman/opium grower? I can't take anymore!!!
Seriously, these are incredible, interesting, and a real joy! Please keep'em coming... Best to you! Tim
