Its as good as its going to get It came out OK. I made a lot of Dumb mistakes toward the end....I think the paint job just wore me out But I give it a B+ over all. This was my first Major Carbon Fiber job....actually easier than I anticipated The things that I learned with this model. -The Power of Decal solution. -How to lay C/F -Don't use Model masters dull clear on Tamiya Tires found that out the hard way. -Take notes on not to forget to setup for plug wires and bare metal foil under headers. - Slow down!!!!! thats a normal one I still haven't learned!

Maybe it's my age, but I see nothing wrong with this build. As usual, the detail is great and the paint came out sharp. Nice work on the decals as well. Lots of different shapes to contend with and you did good with them.
Overall, I give it a BIG thumbs up

Great looking build, and awesome work on the paint job.
Testors 1260 Dullcote and Testors 1261 Glosscote (both are LACQUER) is what works on the tires. Any ENAMEL will not dry. I have not tried Tamiya sprays, but they are about the same lacquer as the Testors. I suspect the Model Masters is an enamel.

I used the Model Master dull clear Acryl on the tires but since the Tamiya rubber is soft the clear just cracks.

Great job on a daunting paint and decal scheme! Mongo is right, Testors Dull- & Glosscotes will work on those tires. I really need to man-up and try CF decals myself, they look so much better than any paint you can use!

Man, where do you get all the time to keep popping out these great beauties? It takes me forever just to get a few hours to work one. By the time I get one finished you have at least three or four maybe more!
