Mary Ann over Ginger and Bailey over Jennifer.
Originally I was going to do both as Lauda, but I'd really like to honor Regga some how, although I do already have a Williams FW07 with his name on it (replicating Williams first F1 win). So, bottom line, I haven't decided.

Mary Ann over Ginger and Bailey over Jennifer. AMEN THERE BUDDY!! If you have ever met Dawn Wells and Tina Louies, you'd know why almost every feels that way too. I never met Miss Smithers, but I did meet Lonnie Anederson who was a doll. But if we go by the TV Show alone, I agree with there too. Best to you! Russ

I read about a year ago where Jan Smithers was busted by the cops while driving naked... so there's definitely something there to like about her. ;D

Ginger or Mary Ann? Mary Ann or JEANNIE!!!! Having the total misfortune of having done a show with Barbara Eden......I'd take Dawn Wells any day next to the Jeannie (expletive deleted)! Best to you! Russ

why not red Tamiya over red plastic?

Personally I dont know much about Hasegawa but it seems like they did a good job in the detail department. Hopefully the Lotus 79 will be this good looking.

I wonder if the 312T held more fuel than the 312T2 ? Because of the shape of fuel tanks of the 312T2's would hold less ?

why not red Tamiya over red plastic? Tamiya paint is very translucent and only works properly over primer (the only exception being black on black or metallic colors). If you want to maintain the color integrity you must put it over white primer. The one time I tried Tamiya red over red plastic was an unmitigated disaster - the red was too dark and was uneven in crevaces and corners.

Fuel lines. They are thinner than they look. This is just solid craft material used in beading that I got at Michael's. It's very elastic. Bodywork has been painted. On the 312T2 after masking off the white areas I gave it another shot of white before the red (TS49) in the hopes that any paint that may run under the tape would be white paint. It seems to have worked. Despite the complex nature of the masking, it came out nice and clean.

Absolutely brilliant! What I great idea!....Wow..... Looks like it did the trick. The way of masking has just changed from now on.... Once again another clean paint job!

The masking is great - the technique you used can also be done with clear but as everyone can see, you did a great job getting the complex masking patterns done right. Enzo would be proud! Jordan

Decaling has commenced (my own decals of course). They seem to have a very good opacity to them. Nice work. Is that the factory finish on the rear wings? G

Awesome Michael! That paint masking trick is something Jordan told me about but he's too modest to admit it. It works great and you've done it very well.
I have to say the engine, brake rotors and gearbox detail is excellent. I especially like the realism of the rotors. They look freshly resurfaced. And I always ask (for my benefit mostly, but everyone should take notes) what paint did you use on them?
